Our history

Bébé Nido is a family business created in 2024 by Christian Monteiro, happy father of a little girl who will soon be 2 years old.

Its aim is to support young parents and develop the awareness of young children through the Montessori method, but not only that.

To understand the origin of this project, we must reveal a part of our private life. Here is our story.

In 2023, the premature birth of our daughter was a real shock and the fear of after-effects and other motor disorders took hold, much more than during a traditional birth.

This is why, very early on, supporting our baby in his development was a key stage in our adventure.

First, in understanding the normal development of a child and then, in the possible disorders to recognize in the case of premature birth.

The medical part aside, the awakening and development of our child was our priority.

But this is where it all gets complicated.

What are the essential products, what advice should I follow?

Whether it concerns subjects related to nutrition or the well-being of little ones, there is no shortage of questions, even more so in the case of a first child or a premature baby.

Added to this is the desire to create a space dedicated to baby's development, but how to choose?

There is no nest pack on the market today, let alone the possibility of choosing what it contains.

The only option is to buy piece by piece, sometimes buying too much or without coherence in relation to the age and development of the child. This is often much more expensive.

Not to mention the many hours spent combing through sites, prices and products on the internet.

Baby Nido

The objective is simple, to offer, but above all to allow parents to create their own “Nido” space.

This is an awakening corner dedicated to the child with the aim of encouraging discovery, self-experience through the choice of activity but also movement through completely free motor skills.

• Motor skills mat and educational box by age group to follow the baby's development during his first 3 years, this is the interest of Bébé Nido.

• The idea of ​​the Blog to share all the advice & tips but also via comments, through the experience of each parent was obvious.

• The environment, the quality of materials and eco-responsibility are at the heart of our project and accompany every day our desire to grow through local partners and sustainable operations.
