Our history

Bébé Nido is a family business created in 2024 by Christian Monteiro, the happy father of a little girl who will soon be 2 years old.

Its aim is to support young parents and develop the awareness of young children through the Montessori method, but not only that.

To understand the origins of this project, we must reveal a part of our private lives. Here is our story.

In 2023, the premature birth of our daughter was a real shock and the fear of after-effects and other motor disorders took hold, much more than during a traditional birth.

This is why, from a very early age, supporting our baby in his development was a key stage in our adventure.

First, in understanding the normal development of a child and then, in the possible disorders to recognize in the case of premature birth.

Putting the medical aspect aside, the awakening and development of our child was our priority.

But this is where things get complicated.

What are the essential products, what advice should I follow?

Whether it's about nutrition or the well-being of little ones, there's no shortage of questions, especially in the case of a first child or a premature baby.

Added to this is the desire to create a space dedicated to your child's development, but how do you choose toys adapted to the baby's age and development?

There are few age-specific play kits on the market today.

The only option is to buy piece by piece, sometimes buying too much or without thinking about the child's age and development. This is often much more expensive.

Not to mention the many hours spent combing through websites, prices, and products on the internet.

Baby Nido

The objective is simple: to offer, but above all to enable parents to no longer make mistakes in their choice of educational toys.

The play kits have been designed and adapted to the motor and sensory development of young children. Combined with a dedicated space on a motor skills mat, the "nido corner" encourages discovery and self-experience through the choice of activity, as well as movement through completely free motor skills.

• A play mat and educational box by age group to follow the baby's development during his first 3 years, this is the interest of Bébé Nido.

• The idea of the Blog to share all the tips and tricks but also via comments, through the experience of each parent was obvious.

• The environment, the quality of materials and eco-responsibility are at the heart of our project and accompany every day our desire to grow through local partners and sustainable operations.
